My wonderful and most talented mother made me a very special gift - this absolutely beautiful fabric bowl. I was stunned by how gorgeous and luxurious it is. Fabric bowls are great for decorating your home or as gifts for loved ones.

I was able to find a beautiful bamboo candle that is a perfect match to the green color of my fabric bowl. If displayed with the candle in the fabric bowl or next to the fabric bowl, either one choice is absolutely gorgeous. How about putting some tissue paper in the fabric bowl and serve warm rolls in the fabric bowl? Beautiful and versatile at the same time.

My mom used some Quilt Gate fabric for my bowl from the Hyakkaryouran collection. This is a cotton sateen fabric manufacturered in Japan and only distributed through Robert Kaufman in the United States. The fabric is of highest quality and the sateen quality gives the print extra luster and eye-catching appeal and the metallic touches bring an extra air of rich sophistication.

Since a fabric bowl does not require a lot of fabric, you should use some of your fabric remnants that you have at home. It is a fast, fun and easy project.

We are working on a How To Make a Fabric Bowl tutorial and it will be posted up on our blog within the next couple of weeks. So, if you want to learn how to make this beautiful fabric bowl, come visit our Imagine Fabric blog again soon.
